It is cheaper due to AZ's policy to supply the jabs on a costs only
basis in order to make it affordable to poorer nations, one can
only surmise this does not sit well with so called BIG PHARMA !!

In my opinion the only entity that will come out of this whole vaccine debacle smelling of roses will be AZ because of its altruism and philanthropy for supplying a vaccine at cost. All of the other pharmaceutical companies will be seen for what they're suspected to be - money grubbing barstewards. I say this because I know that it costs an absolute fortune to develop, test, get approval for, and market a drug or vaccine. Besides which, for every drug or vaccine that actually gets approval for use, many 100s never make it outside of the laboratories and their development costs have to be covered by the ones that do.25-03-2021, 05:11 PM
