i didnt see the prog but was any mention of them using sedatives on the children to keep them asleep? As was mentioned in the newspapers at the time ... I wondered at the time if they had over medicated ?

...no Baggy , there was no mention of the children being sedated just very tired after a busy day .
....Kate McCann says when she went to check on the children...she looked in the room everything looked OK...when she went to close the door ..it banged shut...that was when she realized the window was open....so she must have come back out that room without actually seeing Maddie..
Why do you assume that?....just because the window was open and the door banged shut, doesn't say that she hadn't seen Maddie?
I note the McCanns were in the end apartment right next to a road with another road behind. My blood runs cold at the thought of leaving three little ones alone in such a vulnerable position.
And the patio terrace onto which the doors (which had been left unlatched) opened, had a flight of stairs which led straight down onto the road.
pats she didn't see Maddie...Maddie was already gone by then....she went back into the room when the door banged shut by the wind....so obviously she hadn't checked very well or she would have noticed the child was missing
