It might be a good idea to read Azz's posts where he answers people's concerns, he puts it rather better than I can
Having said this though, I prefer a dating site where there is a fee to register and proceed with the search of a partner
I have been on a few dating sites and I find the free ones atttract most that just want fun times and one-night stands and cybersex, not everyone of course, but I find that the paying sites attract more serious minded people that are really looking for a relationship.

and like you said, it helps people see who's more serious about the whole thing.It will not be anywhere near £25 a month tho, I was thinking more along the lines of £3

Sorry, not for me. A few decades back when younger, slimmer, and more hopeful, my mother encouraged me to join a few such organisations, via newspapers, magazines and later the net, and not once did I find anyone who was anything other than a sleezeball who thought that a meal, or even just a drink, entitled them to 'breakfast'. And they ALL, without exception, either lied or at the least exaggerated.|
