Re: I've had my chest x-ray
Richard, I feel very very bad that you are having such a hard time.
When you speak about the spinal needle, I am wondering if it is a spinal tap, you are speaking about. I have to get one also, and I am scared. I have a brain that has been leaking for 2 years and I have an MRI, nearly every month.
I have been very sick for the last year or so. Having so much illness, and also being a cancer survivor, I am taking severe panic attacks. Sometimes I wonder if I am going to make it or if my time is almost up. But I am a lot older than you, so I have lived my life and I feel I havent' missed anything.....
I know you didn't give me permission to pray for you, but I have to do it Richard. I wouldn't feel right unless I could say a prayer for you.....
If you don't want me to do it again, just tell me and I will stop. But hey Richard, it can't hurt......
I wish you all the best Richard, and consider you a friend of mine. Try to think positive, because you never know what can happen. They say the brain is a very powerful tool......

Lumbar puncture
Lumbar puncture, also known as a
spinal tap, is a medical procedure in which a needle is inserted into the spinal canal, most commonly to collect cerebrospinal fluid for diagnostic testing. The main reason for a lumbar puncture is to help diagnose diseases of the central nervous system, including the brain and spine.
