You got the last line wrong Gaz? But she blamed us for
destroying her childhood?
Imo her parents did that?

There is no doubt in my mind that Greta is very well versed and understanding where climate change is concerned and must be horrified to see those who should well understand what is taking place - and why - either not knowing or caring about what is happening.

I share her feelings.
She is definitely ‘well versed’

There are far better ways of putting the point across without making a drama out of it.....
Greta has probably done more harm to the cause than good....

Re: Greta Thunberg ... again

Not at all she has brought attention to it in a dramatic way because it’s needs a dramatic way .
People including eminent scientists have been going on about climate change for years now and HAVE BEEN IGNORED .
Even now people seem happy to bury their heads along with this issue in the sand .

They have been ignored because nothing conclusive about man's interference (other than on a local scale) has been proven, and there are quite a few eminent scientists who dispute the findings.

Don't misunderstand me though, I do believe that the present rate of mans progress can not be sustained, and the supply of earth's minerals (oil, coal, and precious metals) will eventually be depleted.
The planet will recover, but there are some tough times ahead for us humans.

The seasons have blended, just like the cultures, and the castes and creeds, who knows what is going on.

OGF hundreds of scientists have given proof that climate change has been caused by human activity.
Its humans who are burning fossil fuels and cutting down the rainforest causing a huge rise in greenhouse gases .

Who would deny today that smoking causes cancer?
One day climate change will be the same.

It's a bit like the way the media and the BBC especially only let you see one side of the argument. If you hear something often enough you will start to believe it without remaining objective. There is an agenda going on here.....and most people have been fooled.
