Last night Ingham in N Queensland received 500mm of rain in 12 hours
Meanwhile an emergency warning has been issued for an out-of-control fire at Hepburn Springs near Daylesford, north-west of Melbourne, as Victorian firefighters battle difficult weather conditions across the state.

It's a bit cold here, -7. Luckily I discovered a couple of access roads that run parallel with the lake paths that are fairly clear of snow so dog walking wasn't as bad as I thought it would be this morning.
The frozen snow is hurting Bailie's feet though so we didn't stay out long.
