NASA's LADEE spacecraft slipped into orbit around the moon Sunday, beginning a feverish four-month campaign to demonstrate a next-generation laser communications system and answer long-standing questions about the nature and origin of the tenuous lunar atmosphere.
Oh it's all so very exciting isn't it.
Having heard no news of LADEE (I'm all behind arn't I
) since he set off I was getting worried so I checked up on him and I'm glad to say He's safe and well collecting dust orbiting the Moon, unfortunately he's on a suicide mission and will crash into the Moon in a few months time, sad init, wonder will NASA be playing "And another one bites the dust" when it crashes.
