Well... the bottle of sherry is now in the dustbin. This is because, l turned it upside down to see what was printed on the bottom of the bottle and it started to seep out of the top, even though it was sealed.

Personally, I'd have poured it all down the drain ASAP - it's only sherry .....

I buy sherry by the flagon (2 litres) for $13, those bastard Spanish make us call it something else but it is still better sherry and cheaper.

I don’t drink sherry but l quite like it in the old fashioned sherry (non jelly) trifles l make at Christmas or on special occasions in the year.
It just seemed a shame not to use it, if it had been ok.
I have lots of bottles of spirits too that l don’t drink but l don’t think they’d be suited to trifle!
