I detest storms, and am nervous being 'outside' in one - mainly because I saw people killed by lightning strikes as a child.

So many Annie - it seems 'anyone' can set up as a hairdresser - in my area, it appears 'many' do. To get a blow-dry used to be so easy, not today, they want to use 'straighteners' 'cos its easier ! The result 'damaged' hair ! So, I ask - is their anyone can do a 'blow-dry' well there is Sue - OK, I say....Well Sue, nearly takes me head off, pulling and tugging, me already fragile hair - so that was it, haven't been back since !

I hated thunderstorms as a kid. If I heard a loud bang I always thought it was thunder and I dived under a chair. I was relieved when told it was a mine being exploded on one of the beaches. That was a regular occurance when I was a child, as our island was occupied by the Germans during WW2.
