Today at Whole Foods Market they had their lit, fully decorated tree up,and were selling small table trees! Already!

I'm spoiled, always get one from Carolyn, but I do think this is way too early! They tend to drop their leaves in the dry indoor air and would look pretty ratty by Christmas.

That's what I was thinking too, Eileen ....... it doesn't seem the same if you have one too early, does it?

Have you ever tried to save yours and get it to rebloom the next year? It's a hassle, you have to keep it in complete darkness for a period of time, not even a bit of light from a sreetlight. I tried it one year, put it in the closet every night and it did rebloom but the bracts were fewer and smaller. Not worth the bother; I just chuck mine now after the holiday.
