Good morning everyone. Never been to Carsington, looks an interesting place but not when covered in mud.
Still got the kitten. Walked around the area to see if any posters around
for a missing kitten. My three OAP cats are fed up with him jumping on
them. They are nearly 12 now and like their peace and quiet.

Morning all.Joined the gentle exercise class 9.30 - 10, then the mini shop (more like stuff on a table!), bought a postcard of the home and a handmade card, and in <5 minutes will go for morning coffee.
Would love to go for another walk but it's looking a bit dodgy, weather wise.
Oh well, telly and reading it is then! *sigh*. Such a hard life!

buenas dias all. Another bright sunny day, still quite windy. Yesterday temperature got up to 25C, even warmer out of the wind. I believe there are some horrendous forecasts for various parts of Spain but I won´t worry too much, it´s very rare the really bad weather gets to us here. I remember Carsington water being ´´made´´ and all the complaints and discussions from the local farmers at the time. We used to go there quite often years ago. Good to hear you are improving Jazzi and I hope your dog is okay Plantman. Have a good day all.

Worse still without heating - my c/h boiler decided last evening to mcease to function. Heating engineer didn't arrive till gone 14.00 and he was here for about an hour so only now am I beginning to thaw out again.

Another no school day because of the low temperatures and blowing snow drifting some roads closed. Had a low blood sugar this morning and didn't realize it...fell asleep at 8am and couldn't wake up until at 11am I did wake up enough to know I needed to eat something to get it going. Ate the last of my animal crackers and am fine now. It is also cold in here.|
