When I was pregant with my first child there was a high profile divorce case in the US where a man was told he had to give his wife 50% of everything so he took a chainsaw to their home and gave her 50% literally..

OH said 'good job they didnt have kids ..tell you what we will have two , first ones mine second ones yours ok'?
I just laughed but my first son is the spitting image of his father the likeness is uncanny.

My second son doesnt look like me but putting photgraphs of my brothers next to my ones of my son its sometimes hard to spot who is who..

My daughter came third and she takes after me in her traits but looks like my MIL, she is obviously a shared project!..

I am like my Mum in the fact that I look a lot like her, she gave me
a lovely skin, and the ability to be strong and determined.
My Dad gave me my wanderlust which I have always had and
as they say a gypsy in your soul. Probably because I was the
first child born after he came back from the war after 6 years.

These day ,when I look in the mirror it's my Mum who looks back at me! Character wise I'm a pretty good mix of both parents!

I seem to have inherited the traits from my parents that i could do without.

People thought me and dad were brothers , been told by family that I have my dad's ways, God for bid ,

I have inherited my father's sense of humour and have already passed it on to my own children

I must admit those who see me can see just a hint of my father. At his funeral in 2001 one or two folks said`-you do remind me of Raymond.

I replied `I`m sorry that must be distressing for you`
