Fantastic news Mups. I am so pleased you finally got everything sorted out. Worry not about the driver, he may have only got community service but he will have all sorts of problems in the future getting insurance and any driving jobs.The important thing is that your wall is rebuilt and your plants are in ready for the scorcher of a summer we are going to get.

No compensation as such Meg, but my insurers paid for the builders to come and mend the wall and the cost of tree and plants ruined.
Still waiting for another organisation to help with getting my excess back though.
The council highways people were supposed to be coming out to re-install a big chevron on this bend, but when I spoke to them last week, it has all been put on hold.
Apparently the county council won't let them spend any more money until the new tax year in April.

Thanks dongles, I heard this bloke was not only disqualified but was driving a SORN vehicle too.
