Re: Pie & Mash

Yesterday we ate at a local pub that's recently had a new landlord who is also the chef. We had his home-made 'steak and ale' pie which is one of the best such pies I've ever eaten. We'll certainly go there again. Only £5.95 with chips, carrots and peas and a jug of gravy.

Re: Pie & Mash

You lot want to get yourselves up north, where we eat proper food!

Delicious Lancashire hot pot. mmmmm
Yorkshire puddings filled with meat and gravy.
Steak pie and chips with gravy!

Sorry doc, the pie and mash looked ok but that green liqour put me off! If you are starving jump on the train and come over because I am making a lamb hot pot .

Do you really want to know Malcolm? It didn't look that good on the picture.
