I'm not too obsessed these days with anything. I guess in my prime it was keeping myself in shape. I'd be at the gym or cycling or jogging before work, in my lunch break and after work too. Nothing wrong with being healthy and fit but sometimes I took it to extremes and shut out everything else.As far as addictions go I love my coffee but I wouldn't say I was addicted.

I don't think I'm prone to addictions. I have likes and dislikes, as does everyone but never to the point of addiction. Never smoke or drank, even as a young person. I enjoyed auto racing throughout most of my life from a bit of driving as a young fellow to traveling and working on sprint cars when older. Always fun but never an addiction.

The only thing I can't imagine being without is my animals.I have never been without animals of some sort for my entire life.
Even as kids we always had different animals at home.
It is not that I think of them as 'fur babies', in fact I loathe that expression.
But they stop you from being totally selfish and self-indulgent.
I have another life (or lives) to consider and be responsible for, to think about, to feed and keep happy and healthy.
I also have a genuine interest in animal behaviour, health and psychology.
I really used to very much enjoy my rare breed poultry I bred for many years, and I can't even remember there not being a dog (dogs) to welcome me home.
On the mushy side, they give companionship and genuine affection in their own way, as well as a lifelong interest and social life.
Haven't a clue if that is considered an obsession or addiction though - or just an enjoyable hobby?
