Christmas television with the odd exception awful. I think the TV companies assume everyone is busy with their family so they don't need to make the effort to put on anything half decent.

Still, with the advent of the little black recording box I catch up on the 101 things I have recorded but never find time to watch

I like a bit of comedy and a bit of factual.. I dont do the soaps, infact i hate them...

I donīt even know how to switch our TV on, I leave the TV to Mr Clumsy, he likes his motor racing, darts and other stuff, he also likes to watch a lot of foreign channels, especially German TV. If I want to watch anything I use filmon on one of the computers, so we are both happy.

I too am a single occupant house remote control controlee. I also have a little black box on which I can choose which progs to record. In many ways TV watcher heaven, not a single soap will pass through.

I do get a little annoyed at all the repeats and re-runs, though there are a small number of shows worth repeating.
