He is hoping that others may avoid the trauma he has been through.

Quite a normal thought process.
Then why didn't he say that ?

Re: Speaking in tongues

OG I'm so sorry you lost Jenny to this awful thing. Of course we all understand what you're saying. A friend of ours recently had an operation for oral cancer that involved taking some bone from her leg and using it in her jaw.

Take no notice of Malcolm - he's just being his usual charming self.

Stephan I am sure Jenny would be touched to think you still have your anniversary at the forefront of your mind, a testament to true love...

My dentist always stresses how important yearly checks are not just for teeth but to check the whole mouth..

Re: Speaking in tongues

I survived oral cancer some ten years ago. Picked up early by a young dentist.
Not fun - but on the bright side, I could not speak for some weeks which some found quite a blessing.
Post-op eating was a challenge too for quite a while and some wonderful folk in my local community went to an awful lot of time and trouble to help.

I am still under very regular reviews and have a few issues from time to time but basically all is well.

Happy to discuss if anyone seeks info - but not now at nearly 3am !
