I agree with Baz, you can buy the deionised water rather cheaply. I too buy (or used to) the 2.5L bottles, but I stopped ironing ages ago.

Distilled water has been the most common form of purified water, but, in recent years, water is more frequently purified by other processes including capacitive deionization, reverse osmosis, carbon filtering, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, ultraviolet oxidation,

Distilled water has been used for years in Irons.

If you need distilled water boil a kettle

Hi

Tumble dryers do not operate at a high enough temperature.

Simple solution, go to your local Tropical Fish Shop which sells Marines and buy 25 litres for less than £3.

Take your own container.
