Re: Itchy eye

Do you ever get Styes Jazzi? Just wondering if it might be the start of a stye.
Otherise, have you handled something down the allotment, then rubbed your eyes without thinking?

Re: Itchy eye

If all other remedies fail you could try Optrex drops for infected eyes. These contain an antibiotic ... They worked for me once when I had your condition.

Re: Itchy eye

Morning all. It seems to have settled this morning, but I did use lots of cold water and the drops during the evening.

Hopefully I've flushed out whatever it was, or the tablet kicked in late.

I will come back to these remedies if it happens again. Thanks.

Re: Itchy eye

Jazzi, glad your eye has settled down. I get itchy eye often. I use J&J baby shampoo and a clean washcloth, using that I gently scrub the eye lash area and rinse afterward. Does the job pretty well. A dab of Neosporen after also helps if it is a bad case. Another eye treatment that helps tired eyes is to sit with a warm tea bag on the eye. These treatment came from my eye Dr.

Sought to check availability here in Australia and stumbled across this

http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/eyes/medi...eye-drops.html
says it is now 'discontinued in the UK'.
I wonder why.
