Malcolm of the allergies troubling people today are caused by drinking too much cows milk.Milk in general is for babies not for adults it doesn't do us much good.
Look at Americans they are always guzzling too much milk.
Science moves on and we find out these things
Yes we do ride horses but in this case over the years it hasn't done horses any favours either.

I believe that Pastuerisation was intended as a way of obviating the incidence of Tuberculosis, nothing to do with bacteria.
Cows' milk is good for us and packed with good vitamins and minerals that our bodies require.

You may be right many allergies are imagined I get fed up of people telling me there allergies when they really only have a slight intolerance. Some of us are properly diagnosed and they don't give out epipens willy nilly as they can kill a healthy person.
