I honestly didn't even realise it was so soon.

Normally the tree would be up and the house decorated, but I'm running a bit late this year.

If it weren't for the grandchildren I wouldn't bother at all, but I will do something. Maybe tomorrow if I feel up to it.

With no desire to decry anyone's right to enjoy this time of year, and I do wish you all happiness of the season. I must however register my usual, almost traditional! BAH HUMBUG and look forwards to the new year.
