I have a bottle of Brute aftershave up in me bathroom cabinet, never opened, but it's been there for over ten years, the wife is always telling me to get rid of it but I've sorta become used to it being there in case I ran out of my favourite Old Spice, there is no sell by date on it, don't think they had them back then, I wonder is it still alright to use?
I read somewhere that once it contains alcohol it's OK, kills all known germs.

I dont think anything is safe these days ,you just have to hope for the best.I dont use make up any more ,but do use moisturising cream and sometimes a coloured lip moisturiser but have no idea how safe they are

My moisturiser has no chemical preservatives, and is in a pump action container, likewise my body cream. At least that way I am not poking fingers into the contents all the time. It's a good idea and keeps its sealed and clean.

I throw eye make up away if I haven't used it all up in a year but I must remember to wash my eye make up brushes more often!!
