Yep Julie, could be a trapped nerve or something. However, I take co-codamol and use ibuprofen gel if pain gets bad.

well good result obtained after a good exam by the local GP [old style one who speaks very good english despite being an ozzie!]

he re-assured me a hip replacement wasn't required; neither did I have sciatica but did have some tight muscle formations which can be aided in their release by ibuprofen which is working so far perfectly - we shall see what transpires at end of course?

Pity you couldn't get some physio Gumbud. That might have done the trick.
