Re: Duvet Day

I cannot stay in bed all day unless ill - which hasn't happened for about 40yrs (touches wood very quickly!), and I couldn't sit about in pyjamas as I do not own any - I sleep naked - but on lazy days I do waft about in kaftans - love them! I guess I am just a geriatric hippy !!

I thought you had to be ill to do that.

I hope you are enjoying your Duvet Day Alice, nothing like doing absolutely nothing for a change, especially when you have to work all week.

Re: Duvet Day

I have lazy days but I've never had the entire day in bed. If I did, I wouldn't be able to sleep that night!

Re: Duvet Day

I sometimes have a 'jammie morning' and then the postman knocks on the door or a delivery arrives or something and I feel a bit weird answering the door in my night clothes.

Anita that always happens to me. I decide, once in a blue moon, that I'll potter about and shower and change later, then without a doubt the door will knock. It never fails!!

Nothing wrong with that! There are no rules to say that a person must be up and dressed, so do whatever makes you happy and comfy. Cos I too loaf about in my night clothes (most often now a vest and knickers) till I feel like showering and changing. Or popping out for something.

Re: Duvet Day

Noooooo its not for me, I cannot sit around for long in night clothes. I get up and make a coffee and watch TV from bed for a while but then have to get showered and dressed ready for the day.

Same on an evening, I don't get my night clothes on until ready for sleep.
