Re: Gardening Tuesday

Are yours the non-native invasive Eastern Greys or your Red ones?

Re: Gardening Tuesday

The dreaded greys I'm afraid. We do have red ones on Brownsea Island, a tiny island just in Poole quay but none inland.

Re: Gardening Tuesday

Too bad. They're a real plague here in the City; many people feed them as they think they're cute; also they have no predators so multiply like the vermin they are ....

Sorry, rant over!!

Re: Gardening Tuesday

They do that in Bournemouth gardens, squirrels come right up to you begging! Ours are really wild and timid. Only have to put my hand on the back door handle and they've all shot up the trees.

Re: Gardening Tuesday

Good evening everyone, first chance I've had of getting on here.

It was my granddaughter's 11th birthday today. I made some cup cakes with creamy toppings this morning to take over for her party. We all had a lovely time and played games on the wii. I can see her growing up too fast, senior school next year .... but for the time being she still likes her cuddles with her Nan!

Hope everyone has had a good day!

Re: Gardening Tuesday

Sounds like you had a lovely time with your Grandaughter Mags on her birthday. Am sure she will still wants cuddles with you even when she goes to senior school.

Maryl, thanks for your good wishes for baby Charlotte.....

Had quite a busy day today again! Down to the Vets this morning, out for a quick walk, off to the hairdressers after dinner and then back to the Vets for the Hatti girl's urine results (have put these under the Pets thread). Called round to my friends for cuppa on my way home, and after that, did absolutely nothing but prepare tea and listen to the gusty wind outside!

That's a nice busy day, merz; retirement is good, isn't it!? Off to look at Hatti's results.

Retirement is good Eileen, don't know how I fit everything in when I was working
