Rather it is Labour who are conflating the issues by Corbyn deliberately omitting the word illegal and broadening the issue to other areas of immigration in PMs questions. Why? Because he saw a convenient escape route from his own problems with anti-Semitism.

And since the 'empire' and then the commonwealth involved large parts of Africa ,Asia and the antipodean islands too, as well as the Caribbean, those immigrants from other parts of the commonwealth are also 'LEGALLY here.
