Re: B12
My husband and I both take B12 but for different reasons to Callumsmum, we are both diabetic. I am diet controlled and have been for about 14 years now and hubby is on insulin and tablets. On another forum i saw a post that mentioned Metformin ( a drug for treating diabetes) and lack of B12 and took the decision for us both to take it.Re: B12
When i was younger i had symtoms but they would just come and go it was only when my left foot started to pain me i wondered what was wrong i am a martyr i limped around on a bad foot for over 6 years as it was not every day just a attack now and then.As i have psoriasis my doctor decided i had psoratic arthritis ..!!! When i disputed this he decided i had rheumatism !!!!!!I was sent to rheumatology and they found nothing after scanning me and doing tests ..it even attacked my left eye at one stage it went blood red and stayed red for 6 weeks and i found myself in a eye hospital being poked and prodded and they found nothing either..It was the periphal nerves playing up and they just didnt diagnose it..Re: B12
My daughter is just 27 and has a B12 shortage, her problem is that her body cannot absorb B12 so even tablets dont help.
