and are very impressed by (of course!). I wondered about something meaningful.......like one of the Tower of London poppies.......but what would they do with it????
That is a problem, as one who is in the throes of decluttering a plastic poppy would be as welcome as a hernia.
Buying for adults is a headache, we made a pact not to buy for adults at xmas, but spend extra for their birthdays instead.
I agree, when my kids were little there was always plenty to get them, I'd start lay-bying stuff about June or July but now they are adults, so hard. I tend to give them $50 in an envelope plus a box of odds and ends (eg hip flask, lollies etc)
