Think I was lulled into a false sense of security with yesterday's weather, it's brass monkeys today

I've the stoves lit and just waiting for a bit of warmth to spread about before I contemplate brunch ( I've been up since 7 honest . )

Going to annoy the kitten today, got to get the ironing board out, he's gonna be scared

Good morning fellow members a cold drab day here. A mist has descended which will no doubt be with us all day as often happens in the river valley.

Not a lot planned for today just catching up on the housework. Enjoy your day everyone

Morning everyone

A dry day here so far this morning, spoke too soon yesterday when I said the fields near us were not flooded, after all the rain we had yesterday taking hubby to work last night, the fields were flooded.

Just walked out for my paper. A little on the chilly side, but not very bad. After my delivery lunchtime I may go out for an afternoon stroll.
