Re: Solo holidays
Re: Solo holidays
I have been on quite a few solo holidays. I never had a holiday during my married life, and flew for the first time when I was in my fifties. My first ever solo holiday was, to all places, China, well over twenty years ago. I saw it advertised in the Mail, ten days full board and travel for about four hundred pounds. I wanted to visit a communist country and could foresee China opening up to the West, so wanted to experience it before that happened. A fascinating, educational experience.Re: Solo holidays
See? Many more of us capable of travelling the world alone! It is empowering and gives so much freedom. Yes, I have found some great people to talk to. I also don't socialise, as sitting in a bar say, all evening, is not my thing. But I would talk to anyone and sit with them at meal times, no problem.Re: Solo holidays
