I count myself fortunate I have never had the feeling of grief, even when the grandmother, of whom I was very fond, died in 1980. I just felt relief, that she didn't linger after a devastating stroke which would have left her incapable of doing anything for herself. To my grandmother that would have been a fate much worse than death.Re: Overwhelming waves of grief.

I know exactly how you are feeling, I lost both my parents within 6 months of each other. Grief is such a personal thing ,something that one has to work through over time.Re: Overwhelming waves of grief.
