As for you Jazzi surely you need a 2nd opinion from someone not related in any way to the surgeons that carried out the procedure.

Why not search on Google for others who have had a similar or identical op and see what they have to say? You might find someone with exactly the same problem you now have. If you do they might shine a light on what the problem (if there is one) is.
Googled till I'm blue in the face! I only found one patient who suffered badly, and was in pain for 6 months. Another couldn't wait to have sex and reopened her surgery site! Stupid cow.

I did add to a list of comments but it obviously didn't save, as I can't bring up my post.

When I saw the GPs (2 ladies) they proclaimed not to be urologists, so therefore wouldn't have an understanding.

Problem is, if they were to refer me, for a second opinion, can you imagine how long I'd have to wait? My local hospital which did the cystoscopy and found the diverticulum referred me to UCLH saying they didn't do the op themselves because of it being 'specialist'.

Have you actually been discharged from the hospital that did the procedure Jazzi or do you have a follow-up appointment?

Back in October, Pats. Six months. So no, not been discharged. Be interesting to see their reaction if I'm still in pain then!!

Gave in today, after helping out at table top sale, and took a tramadol with 2 paracetamols, and a two hour lie down.
