Re: Vitamin D Deficiencies
Yes it is no coincidence that people get ill in the winter when there is a lack of vitamin D.
The mainstream media and medical profession tell people to protect yourself against the sun!
The sun is our friend and if you are of pale skin you only need twenty minutes exposure in the sun each to receive 10,000 units of vitamin D. I believe that it is the petroleum based sun creams that penetrate the blood system that cause cancer and not the sun unless you expose yourself excessively and burn.
Vitamin D is a hormone and a vital vitamin for building up the immune system, most people are deficient in vitamin D especially women, and pregnant women. When women give birth they are so deficient in vitamin D as the baby uses up so much of the mother’s supply of vitamin D. Osteoporosis and brittle nails and teeth are a sign of vitamin D deficiency. But mainly vitamin deficiency compromises the immune system and manifests into various illnesses.
You can request that the doctor injects high doses of vitamin D if you need it.
Eggs are a good source of vitamin D but they must be organic and free range to get the required benefits.
Be careful with fish as much of it has high mercury content (second most toxic substance on earth).
Margarine is not good for you despite what the TV adverts tell you. Margarine is jet black in its original colour and full of artificial chemicals, it is then bleached white and then dyed yellow! And with meat products you have to run the risk of eating growth hormones and antibiotics that the cattle are fed!
It is interesting that the iu recommendations on the high street vitamin D is 400iu!
That is nowhere near enough of the required amount. After researching this subject over the years and talking to alternative doctors who I respect I take 5,000 iu fluid capsules in the summer and 10,000 in the winter. Since I started taking my vitamin D supplements years ago I have never had any illness or pain in any day.
There is a lot of scare mongering by the mainstream medical profession who say too much vitamin D can lead to kidney disease! LOL.
A Doctor who spent many years searching for evidence that vitamin D causes kidney disease offered his students a sum of money to research the medical journals around the world to provide evidence that vitamin D causes kidney disease. 30 years later the doctor still has a hold of that money.
Around 30,000 people die each year through prescribed synthetic chemicals by their doctor.
In the last 30 years 10 supposed deaths have been attributed to over consumption of vitamins, and this figure is unproven!
