Not all Meg , my old boss was a horrible git and racist when he started he was on a six month trial , we all wanted him to fail , he did

It's the norm to see someone you dislike fail at something

Yes I answer my own question , you question my post , I give you a example , but there's milions of different examples as we are all different

Another example I know off , is relationships , sometimes when the child married a wronging , the parents sometimes want to see the marriage fail ,

They'd be pretty callous parents if they felt like that.

The parents might be worried and concerned that it wouldn't work, they might even say "told you so," if it failed, but they'd not be very nice people if they actually hoped it would fail.

Agree mups but I should inmagine it happens a lot , old workmate his sister married a Blackman , he said his parents went mad , and hopeing for the day the marriage fails , saying he was only after a passport to live in this country
