Sadly I'm afraid all I saw in that video were some young fit horses quite happily dragging the sleighs, but some much older horses looking very unhappy and weary, especially if some of those poor old horses have travelled for 15 days with sleighs.
It looks very pretty but I don't think I would want to be in that snow, I hate the cold. Our next door neighbours are from Norway but they spend more time here these days than at their home there.
That looks great Anna, I think I would enjoy that, I know I love drining in the snow but as for travelling for 15 days in that weather on a horse drawn sledge, I dont think so. lol

So sorry to hear that Mollie. I am not a horse-person myself -so I'm not able to tell the difference between a young & fit horse and an old & tired.
One thing I do know is that the people travelling this way to this fair has a genuine urge to keep up an old tradition, and I really doubt that the horses suffers. They have many stops during their travel & the horses are taken good care of. They also have rested for a day or two before entering the opening scene.
Love to hear that & really hope your weather has been good so far & that you are enjoying your trip. We have had a really windy (stormy) winter this year.
I'm home, when I get myself organised I'll be doing a blog on another forum.
I'll put it on here in a thread, I won't hijack yours.
