Ever since I saw one in Portugal, I have installed and use a water spray which I attached to a shower hose above the bath. I find this cleaner and more efficient than a toilet brush.

Of course, when I mentioned that on a certain plumbing forum one or two old ladies on there criticised me and explained that this is 'dangerous' and 'contrary to the regulations' in this country.

Am I bothered?

Lol ... I was quite surprised the first time I witnessed my 'house guest' using the spongey scourer thingie in the bath (to wash with !).

Didn't bother to say anything because he was on 'the naughty step' more often than not

Wow! What a lot of unnecessary work.

It's both quicker and easier just to push that button thingy on the top of the cistern!
