Re: My Very First Memory.

I remember waking up one morning with the door to the outside falling shut behind me. I had been sleepwalking, turned around and simply rang the bell. My uncle opened the door and said 'what are you doing out here?' I never answered him, just squeezed past him and went back to my bed.

Re: My Very First Memory.

I remember having what was probably my first haircut but I don't remember how old I was.
I was very upset as my curls fell to the floor. I remember the distress I felt and how I ran to my granddad for comfort when I got home - still crying.

Tell us more, carol. What did your granddad do or say to calm you down?

Re: My Very First Memory.

Ah ah Mr Ploppy. Granddad brought a smile to my face by promising to go to the hairdresser and chop her curls off...

Bless all the granddads of this world. They know how to make little girls smile. I wish I had a little girl grandchild too. For some reason they all had to be boys.

In Sweden, any grand-dad who smiles at little girls get banged up. It's no joke either.

I believe you. Have been wondering about being too friendly with not only girls but boys as well. Mind you, it's nothing new, I was warned about predators when I was a wee boy.

Re: My Very First Memory.

Exactly, it makes you stay away from little people just in case.
