Thats what I find is the most tiring in having children about.... They never stop asking questions.... and its so empty and quiet when they go home!.

I watched the Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph in London wishing I was there to see it all live.

For the rest of the afternoon, I took Loki out walkies - well what I should say was, she took me walkies and she can walk the legs off me!!

The rest of the time until now, I've been relaxing trying to forget the pain from my pulled muscle in my side, or cracked rib I got leaning over the arm of my chair for my boots on Thursday!! Ooooh the pain Feel like a bottle of Paracetamols every time I walk

I went to the local Remembrance Parade this morning, then walked the dogs in the forest for an hour and finished my book this afternoon. Probably finish the evening with the papers in front of the fire...

I went to a Remembrance Day service at the Canadian War Plane Museum with my brother and nephew. The most dramatic moment came as a bomber flew over us following the 2 minutes of silence. The most touching moment was when a twenty-something fellow a few rows in front of us put an arm around his grandfather and hugged him tight.

In the afternoon we joined my daughter and family for a birthday celebration for my 2-yr old grandson, George. He now calls me "G'ma" much to my delight!
