I insisted at my daughter's wedding that my son-in-law call me Ma'am, the Steampunks called me mi'lady (they're so polite) so can't say I noticed!

Signs of ageing:

When filling in an online form and you have to select year of birth, it takes ages to scroll down the list of numbers

Feeling that you've seen it all, done it all but can't remember most of it.

Spending half an hour searching for my glasses only to catch sight of myself in the mirror and there they are on top of my head. Either aging or going mad

Buying and wearing "sensible" shoes.. No appearance of style is worth aching feet. Bunions, corns, and heel spurs now dictate my shoe selection.

I would have been old at 15 then as I have never understood the idea shoes should be anything but really comfortable. Brogues are brilliant and have been my choice since I got my first pair many moons ago. Crocs too are fantastic, and trainers for long walks.
