No, I married pretty much the opposite of my dad, although I loved them both dearly, but for different reasons.

My Mum and Dad divorced when I was 16, and I don't think that either of my
two hubbies are anything like he was.

No, neither of my husbands were like my Dad and if I had my time again, I'd hold out for someone like my Dad - he was great

Yes...my husband and dad were quite alike....both had good natures content in their own home....only thing different about them is ...my husband's good at taking his turn with hoovering or dishes...and cooking (well certain things)...don't think i ever remember my dad making a cup of tea....

My Father died when I was a baby, I was told that I was just like him so it follows that my husband married my Father ... um .... can that be right? ....
