Yes, been there, had that one given to me as well. I used to deliberatly leave stuff off my C.V. after all if it's not relevant you have every right to leave it off.

The only things you shouldn't leave out are time in jail and membership of polictical organisations e.g. Al Kaeda

Should'nt leave out ???....who would want to advertise that they are a member of a politcal party or been in prison ...they are both irrelevant and would be on a need to know basis ...I was told that a CV is a tool to get a interview ...why put negatives on it ....if you had been in prison for any reason the only time you would admit to that would be on a application form but then only if asked the specific question ......and a political organisation poss the same applies there...however if i was a member of the conservative party i would be deeply ashamed to admit THAT ....

Under Rehabilitation of |offenders Act, if the prison sentence is considered 'spent' there is no need to declare it on a C.V. either.
