Having had two sons of my own, I cannot imagine what it must be like to feel that loss everyday. I lost my youngest son aged 3 on the beach at Scarborough one day as someone sat in front of me and he couldn't see me sat there, so he just set off running down the beach. I couldn't find him for 2 hours and that was bad enough. One good thing is the DNA which proves one way or the other. 25 years ago everyone would still be wondering if this lad was really Ben.
