Called a Eastern Lubber but I see them a lot bigger then the bug book says....this is a female, the ,ales are plain joes and less then a third this size. She is easy 5 inches long.
Not a creepy crawly but a hopper, jumper.
No idea what this one is called, grasshopper family?
Maybe a land crab?
