Re: Communication

When I was young I was very shy and found it difficult to communicate with others, I then started working at a young age and began to built up confidence and by the time I was in my twenties I had no trouble communicating with anyone, I draw the line dealing with customers where business is concerned, my wife is far better at that so I leave it to her.
As regards the written word, I do my best to explain what I want to say with the limited vocabulary I have due to lack of education, If I am understood well and good, if I am not it doesn't really matter, at least I tried.

It's very important but difficult on forums - people tend to put their own inflections to posts sometimes and that can cause hassle when swords are crossed. It's easily done as you can't hear the tone the writer is using, nor can you see facial expressions.

What I don't like is seeing people afraid to air an opinion due to fear of backlash from others - if there was only ever one opinion, conversation would be a very short-lived thing!

It is scientifically proven that women are superior communicators than men are (but I can't remember why now ).
