Why complain??? At least he's British isn't he??? and not a 'foreigner' scrounging off the welfare state as people here have complained about on another thread.

Foreign or British I should imagine there's an awful lot of 'scrounging off the welfare state' going on in that family! Bad back?! He should try removing it from the mattress earlier in the day and get to work!

Re: Dad Of 22 Children.

However the article does say that researches could only find hard (pardon the pun) evidence of half of those children he claims. What I found most annoying (and am understating here) is that he was on trial, should have been sent down but was given a suspended sentence because he claimed the mother of his youngest needed him there to care for the toddler while she went to work. So for one I hope the DSS spot the story and take away his disability benefits because caring for a lively toddler is surely not easy gentle work.

Re: Dad Of 22 Children.

I don't mind how many children people have as long as they provide for them themselves and don't expect others to pay for them .

It should be made known that benefits will be restricted and large family does not = more benefits and bigger house.

Completely agree but at the end of it all no one wants to see children harmed so we will as a nation keep paying out as the children have to be kept when they arrive.

In that case the parents should be given vouchers not cash and made to attend courses on family planning and how to cook economic nutritious meals on a budget.

Re: Dad Of 22 Children.

I think some payments may be being made by voucher some people seem to be paying in the supermarkets with healthy start vouchers, they look like government issue from where I was standing. No idea who or why they issued but looked like only unemployed people with children seem to have them round here.
