Good morning fellow members
a lovely morning and I have been out to buy a support for my thumb which is very painful. It is Hannah's birthday party on Sunday and I have lots of baking to do as well as the housework so have to get things done somehow in spite of the pain.I am off to hang the washing out amid a lot of bleating from the sheep , they are being sheared today.

It must have been blown here with
the gales we had over Winter. There has been quite a few
USA birds spotted that shouldn't be here. It you put that
on the net you would be inundated with Twitchers.

It's not a Woodpecker, it was a Finch.

When you said it was a Red Head I thought of a Bull or Gold Finch.Then you said it was blue and white.
I thought you meant the whole body not just the head. The red
on this Finch is just above its beak not the whole head.
Sorry but the description was not of a English bird. As a whole
head is not the above part of a beak
I was really excited thinking you had found a Twitchers
