Are we talking about the art of humour or the graphic description of human bodily functions Julie ?

Re: Modern day humour

I did like Dame Edna - she said to one of the 'beefcake' actors
'Everytime I see your naked bottom - I want to put talc on it'
I recall he wasn't amused

My other favourite (cant recall her name) She famously said to Debbie .....'So, what attracted you to the 'millionaire' Paul Daniels' ......

The language and graphic descriptions, I see modern comedy and much of it is swearing and descriptions of stuff we really don't need to hear about, no humour about it. But some people are scared to say that. On some forums a lone voice will say hey guys can we not say some of this stuff and get pms saying well said but the well saying members cannot say anything on the open forum because they fear others saying they should lighten up.
Not everyone wants to hear it I actually think it's a minority who do, and small minority willing to say so.

I know who you mean, it was Mrs. Merton Patsy.
I used to like (and still do) Dame Edna too.
