I agree Mags, though I did see evidence of a few large cats (especially the cheetah) pacing round and round their enclosure on my recent visit. I'd have preferred that they have room to 'sprint', as is their normal behaviour.
The problem London Zoo has is that they cannot expand outwards like countryside based zoos can, and have to make do with what space they have. An under used area is the section that used to house the bears. Goodness knows what they plan to do with it!
