Re: Gnats

It's the dreaded midgie in Scotland. The air can be thick when them in the Summer months. I end up with lumps and bumps, getting bitten everywhere. I have to take an antihistamine each day as I have an unpleasant reaction to the bites. Wee besoms

Re: Gnats

Gnats in February. Where are you Spitty. The only windy city
I know is Chicago or Manchester. Both are coldish at the moment
and not welcome for flying things apart from aeroplanes.
Since I became a OAP I have become a target for biting ticks, fleas,
sand flies and mosquitos. Why I have no idea. Got the spray already
for Summer and why they attack me now but not when I was younger
I have no idea. Something I will have to ask a genius.

They will now Patsy. He will be the only bespeckled brickie in "The Windy city" with a cork-dangling hat on.

Is that how that Scottish singer got his name, Midge Ure.

It could be the wind that is attracting them.
