Re: What a lovely uncle this little girl has

It isnīt odd at all to see children dressed up in their favourite costumes but it is certainly very odd to see an adult man accompanying a small girl to the cinema himself dressed in the same way. If the child felt embarrassed to wear her outfit in public then surely she could have been dressed differently.

Well I don't know I just thought it was lovely he had such a quirky way to help her. It surprised me so many saw it as strange I am beginning to think I live a different life to many here, perhaps I do because we as a family have dressed the men up on many occasions. All good clean fun. My husband is sporting pink nail varnish at the moment because Grace did his nails last night, he takes it in good sport and will take the ribbing he gets at work with a laugh.

Re: What a lovely uncle this little girl has

at one time it was well known that anyone who fell asleep at my house would find themselves made up and posed in a silly hat or with a teddy bear and photographed as a sort of punishment..

I must say Im not bothered by who wears what anymore.

I imagine that most people have been models for children at home, but that is a far cry from a man taking a little girl to the cinema, or any other public place dressed in the manner of that child's uncle.

You have obviously never been to the rocky horror show - men in stockings and corsets anything goes. We love it have been several times.

And he made her feel more comfortable and happy to do it. Not like anyone forced her to go.

TBH I am not quite sure what anyone's point is any more unless they are uncomfortable with a man dressing up, something I am very comfortable with.

Re: What a lovely uncle this little girl has

I think it's fake.

Why would any little girl not want to wear her princess dress, little girls of that age are not embarrassed, they want to wear princess dresses all the time if they can.

Maybe the guy wanted to be seen in a frock and I have no problem with that either, he can cross dress all he wants and there is nothing to stop him.
He may do it in private all the time and wanted a reason to be seen in public in a dress but these photos look photo shopped so who knows what the real story is.
